The Shillelagh Project (An Tionscnamh Sail-Éille)

The Shillelagh Project is a collection of information about the shillelagh and Irish martial arts. This information is being compiled as people send in letters and photographs related to any aspect of the shillelagh. This project will aid researchers in their understanding of the shillelagh and Irish martial arts. Any information would be appreciated, but in particular individual family histories or stories about ancestors who used the shillelagh. All the materials sent for inclusion in the Shillelagh Project will be posted on this website unless deemed repetitive (i.e. someone else sent in the same information from the same book). There are no fees involved and all participation in the Shillelagh Project is voluntary. All contributions will be credited.
